Fifteen graduates receive diplomas at Williscon High
The Williscon High School graduation Friday night at Gates Opera House drew crowded attendance of relatives and friends. The class motto Make the Best of It appeared above the stage, with music by the high school orchestra and a sequence of addresses and songs. Valedictorian Nellie Larsen delivered the farewell oration, and Superintendent Ellsthorpe and School Board President Corbett offered remarks before diplomas were awarded.

Williston Excursion To Plentywood A Winner
Williston Boosters organized an excursion to Plentywood on a special train carrying about 150 boosters. The event featured the Williston band and drum corps, speeches by Mayor Jackson and C Mansfield, and lively town welcome banners. Return trip carried over 200 passengers as the group praised the train crew and diner service for handling the large crowd with efficiency.

Fire Destroys Gibson Home in Tyrone Township
L. J. Gibson and family lost their Tyrone township home on Tuesday noon when a gasoline stove exploded. The flames quickly consumed the house and contents. the structure was a total loss with no insurance. The family comprises Mr and Mrs Gibson and five children.

Elected Officers of the B and T Club Meet for New Year
The B and T Club held its test meeting at Mrs S M Hydle's with election of officers for the upcoming year. The M E church Ladies Aid plan a June 15 home gathering at Mrs Cascaden 418 6th Street. Miss Holland's music class gave a recital at the library on May 30. Edna and Ethel Davis of Cleveland Minn arrive for a visit with aunt Mrs H R Lampman en route to the Pacific coast and Yellowstone park.

The Congregationalists were informed on Tuesday that their site was finalized for the new federal building. The chosen area includes an Ellithorpe lot, and a warrant of $10,000, representing the purchase price, would be issued immediately. With over forty thousand dollars allocated for this year, groundwork could begin on the foundation this fall.
