Army post site selection at Biamarck Dakotas planned
Major Pond chief quartermaster reports site selection for the first buildings of a new army post at Biamarck near Fort Yates Standing Rock agency. Congress appropriated 40000 pounds for immediate work with one barrack, two officers quarters, and a quartermaster building to be built.
