EB Leonhardy spoke for ditch work in front of the Great Northern Hotel. Petition to open south end of Sessen Avenue to the railroad discussed and held over. Justice’s report May totals 77.40 dollars in fines. Committees appointed to converse with landowners regarding the Sassen avenue south end and to confer with John Bruegger about town park. Bills approved for printing town clerk and other services. Board adjourned to June 14 1899. State Manual School trustees engaged Danphy Bernetto Bacheler and Ellen Anderson as rector and department heads for the upcoming term opening Sept. 4 at Ellendale.
