Williston Town Board Chooses Staff for Manual School

Williston North Dakota June 6 1899 the town board met in regular session. Present trustees Coulter and Bell Absent Parnhall minutes read and approved. EB Leonhardy spoke for ditch work in front of the Great Northern Hotel. Petition to open south end of Sessen Avenue to the railroad discussed and held over. Justice’s report May totals 77.40 dollars in fines. Committees appointed to converse with landowners regarding the Sassen avenue south end and to confer with John Bruegger about town park. Bills approved for printing town clerk and other services. Board adjourned to June 14 1899. State Manual School trustees engaged Danphy Bernetto Bacheler and Ellen Anderson as rector and department heads for the upcoming term opening Sept. 4 at Ellendale.
