State Banks Show Big Gains in North Carolina Report
State bank examiner George Johnson released a June 22 report showing improved bank conditions versus last year. Doomed Eastland Vessel Had Known Faults From Start
Fred W. Beecher of Minneapolis, a former officer on the Eastland, says the ship was doomed from the beginning and twice barely escaped disaster in 1905 1906 due to ballast handling. Death of Mrs Warehime in Williston cemetery burial
Mrs F B Warehime of this city died Friday evening at nine thirty and funeral services were held Monday afternoon at four oclock. The remains were buried in the Williston cemetery. Maggie Elizabeth Warehime was born January 4 1894 and was married July 15 1912. She left a husband two children a boy Raymond age two and a girl Ta Ophal 11 months, her mother three brothers and two sisters.
