U P S C E earned about 35 dollars at a Tuesday evening entertainment. L E Porter returns from Montana sheep-shearing tour. W C Fee in town, reports a ranch about 25 miles northwest. Frank Ford and wife shopped, brother of Billy Ford. Ora Ruple returns from Devils Lake to Williston after hosting Sheriff Wagness. Otto Dahl begins barley harvest in Stony Creek district. This region two weeks ahead of Red River valley. Miss Lulu Pendrey leaves for Towner ND after visiting aunt Mrs H H LaDue. Miss Ella Broegger to Culbertson MT for several months with Mr and Mrs Zeno Broegger. Mrs McCraig and children of St Paul leave after visit with Mrs R Newell. Williston Special, Stony Creek and Grinnell district treasurers’ reports published on page 4, show sound finances.

Official Proceedings of Williams County Board of Commissioners

The Williams County Board of Commissioners met with full attendance and, with the State Examiner present, examined county records. They adjourned to 1 30 p m and later to July 26 at 9 o clock a m. Bills were approved for payment and the board adjourned.
