From Tooley pasture one mile southwest of Williston a gray mare about 1350 pounds a brown mare 1400 pounds with star on forehead a sorrel mare 1050 pounds branded F over a heart on left shoulder a bay gelding with anchor brand on right jaw weight about 1050 He is a stray. Notify at Gordon's barber shop under Citizen's National Bank in Williston. Reward offered for recovery of the horses Lucan Carrier.

Karlsruhe July 23 Wieland a Molitor household employee testified at the trial of Karl Hau charged with murdering his mother in law Frau Molitor last November. Wieland traveled from Kiel after reports defense questioned him. He gave a straightforward account of movements during the crucial quarter hour and named places where he ran errands as subpoenas for new witnesses keep delaying the case.
