Bonetraill Fourth of July Celebration Runs Big Crowd

Kalispell visitor James Rose joined John Wall as Bonetraill held a lively Independence Day with a large county turnout. A Squires beat Bonetraill 16 to 7 in the main ball game while later Bonetraill and nearby towns joined in dances and social visits.

Residents’ Notes From Squires Area This Week

Jacob Clive Squires visited Williston on Tuesday while Alfred Tennyson from Petersburg arrived Monday to tend his claim for several weeks. Alfred Tennyson and Miss Halvorson were called on by Jacob Nelson after a broken rib accident. A picnic near Little Muddy west of Squires drew many families on July 4.

Spring Brook News Buys New Ownership From Locals

Spring Brook residents report J Widman and E J Retzlaff have purchased the Spring Brook News. The town hosts a festive celebration with a Marmon victory in ball, lively races, and a popular bowery dance. Mrs Riley hosts Mr Meyer and his Minot bride as guests.

Painted Wood and Bonetraill Celebrations Noted

Dan and Will McGrath were beallers in Williston on Wednesday. A ball game at Bonetraill July 4th saw Squires win 16 to 61 over Bonetraill, with Squires also defeating Gladys. Several locals celebrated at Bonetrails, including Dan McGrath and the Helland family. James Helland and wife spent July 4th at Frederickson and reported a good time. Clifford Mitchell chased and found his horse Monday at Mrs. John Howard's place.

Conditions Hint At Early Return To Prosperity

Conditions bring the country to an early return of prosperity as bank clearings and railroad earnings lag behind last year but gap narrows.
