Everybody Works But Father Fairbanks engine powers a farmer’s shop

A city farmer bought a Fairbanks Morse gasoline engine from Bruegger Mercantile Co. The tale, told in verse, praises the engine for grinding, sawing, pumping and lighting. City council bids review and contract authorization approved for electric light and water works bonds totaling 127,000.
