City Advances on Water Works and Electric Plant Contracts

The city council completed bids and contracts for water works and electric light facilities. Bonds of 27000 dollars sold to C C Gowran & Co with a premium of 810 and 100 expenses. Multiple material bids awarded to firms including Milwaukee Boiler Co and Platt Iron Works. Arthur Morgan of Chicago assisted, promising timely construction and low future rates.

Farmers Elevators planned in district meeting
