Minister to Honduras Named for Massachusetts Man

Massachusetts man Philip M. Brown of Woburn has been appointed minister to Honduras with a yearly salary of 910,000. Born in Hampden, Maine, in 1875, he moved to Woburn at age ten and later graduated from Williams College in 1898. He served in Turkey and Central America, rising through the diplomatic ranks to secretary of the legation and consul general to Roumania and Servia before this appointment. He is fluent in several languages.
