The Armory hosted a well attended masked ball by the Williston Home Guards with music by Onstad's orchestra. Attendees wore silks and rags, prizes were awarded after Lunch, and masks were removed after a grand march. The event showcased a lively mix of attendees and festive spirit. A church fundraiser follows with a musical tableau and two farces at 8 p.m. Friday in the Congregational Church basement with 25 cents admission.

Local Red Cross Serves Sailor Boys
The Williston Chapter of the Red Cross aided sailors en route to the east coast. Sixty nine sailors from Pagette Sound received sandwiches and coffee on Sunday, fifty more on No 2 with candies and postcards, and about twenty five each day on Tuesday and Wednesday.
