Christmas at the Churches Reflected in Festive Services
Christmas services at St. Peter's Church drew about twenty five attendees at the early service. The church was adorned with fragrant pine and holly, candles, and music from a vested choir and Mrs. Jennison. Rev. M. Runnals preached at eleven, the Sunday school prize event occurred at three, and Miss Toftley delivered a Christmas reading in the evening. Special services followed at the M E church with Rev. Hollett and a violin solo by Prof. Onstad.

Harden Release Ends Jail Time After Appeal Ruling
Attorney Frank Fisk appeared before Judge Burr at Towner for the State of North Dakota versus O D Harden. Harden, convicted of assault last September in Ambrose, had 30 days jail and a $25 fine plus costs about 200 total. A motion to vacate Judge Gross’s summary affirmation and void the judgment due to lack of jurisdiction was sustained, releasing Harden from custody.
