Suicide at Raums Ferry Claims Theodore Thor
Theodore Thor known as Slim, about thirty, hanged himself last night in a coal shed near Raums ferry after drinking heavily. McIntosh, who ran the ferry, found the body in the morning and notified authorities. Thor had been in town yesterday and returned with McIntosh. The death is ruled a self-inflicted act in McKenzie County.

Young Hunter at Hope Killed in Farm Accident
Frank Gallup aged 14 son of Mrs W H Gallup was accidentally shot on his mother's farm two miles northwest of the city. He hung a loaded 22 caliber rifle by the muzzle and it discharged striking him above the right ankle and into the lung. He died soon after with his companion calling for help.

Eight Million To Fund Northwest Irrigation Projects
Washington reports eight million dollars will fund irrigation work in the northwest over five years following a board of army engineers study. Montana gains over seven million for Milk River and Sun River projects, with smaller sums for lower Yellowstone, Huntley, Missouri river pumping, and Belle Fourche. Freight collision near Springbrook claims minor injuries
An east bound Great Northern freight and a west bound water train collided head on east of Springbrook last Monday. Initial reports said two were killed, later corrected to one injured engineer of the water train. Both engines damaged in the wreck. the water train hauled water from Kay to Springbrook.
