Marmon news reports a large club membership increase and a lively debate on Washington versus Lincoln with Lincoln side prevailing. Next meeting set for January 6 at 7:30 pm at the Mormon school house, with a high license topic for discussion. Local folks attend Sand Creek literary event last Friday and report a good time. Updates on horse illness, wood hauling, Sunday visits, and a two inch board injury to Jack Adams horse. Rabbit hunting noted as a distraction from school.
Garden Valley observers report Mabel Elliott and A. Elliott with the Ekebergs and the Rieder families preparing for winter. Mr and Mrs R Rieder visited Len Reider and Hval's were host to the Vandebergs on Sunday. Alfred Elliott and sister Mabel planned a trip to Avoca on Tuesday.

Mr and Mrs Addyman hosted a family reunion on Christmas day. The Cowens left for Wisconsin. Miss Drake visiting returned home to Wis. Mrs Hyatt and Addyman were in Williston shopping. Gee Addyman remains in town.
