Williston Red Cross Campaign Tops One Thousand
Williston Red Cross raised about $1,300 from 1,245 members and renewals in a dollar membership drive that ended Saturday night. In Williams county total memberships reached 1,800 as reported by H. H. Lampman. Women comprised about two thirds of receipts led by Mrs. G. M. Hedderich with ~20 captains and assistants aiding city outreach. Mr and Mrs W. R. M. Chesney of Bainville visiting Willis ton this week.

Burns Brothers Admit Guilt In Grand Larceny Case
Bert Burns and Joe Burns, captured in Montana and brought back to Williston, confessed to grand larceny. Judge F E Fisk sentenced them to three years and six months in the state penitentiary. They stole a car from W H Denny and goods from Botton Brothers and E H Weir, fled to Montana, then sold the car. The automobile was returned to Mr Denny.
