Night Policeman's raids end in two arrests on gambling and pigging
Night Policeman Tom Hennighan conducted two raids Saturday night and Monday morning. Will McIntyre, owner of a lunch room on south Main Street, was arrested for pigging and bonded $500 with a hearing set for next Monday before Justice Poe. Early Monday morning George Wallett was arrested in a Creaser Drug Store basement gambling operation and appeared before Justice Poe, where he reportedly admitted guilt.
