An electrical storm Sunday night caused rain hail and two milch cows and a horse to be killed by lightning. Stady witnesses report Lewey Harness stacking wheat, Lem Hanes as a caller at Gibbs, and Fye on the streets. Mr Davis lost two milch cows and Fairchilds visited Rudser to tend the farm.

New Baby Boy for Albercht Couple in Golden Hill

Register A H Parrott left for Detroit to attend a Registers and Secretaries meeting on the 16th and 17th. The Fargo druggists held their annual convention with talks on pharmacy training and licensing. Prof Ladd warned against fake drugs including Sioux Remedy Co and Western Remedy Co. The summer school reports enrollment near 200 and growing interest in agriculture domestic science and nature study. Rev Herbert S Bigelow spoke on the Power of an Idea and the Initiative and Referendum. D G Milbraith will join North Dakota Agricultural College as Asst Prof of Botany. G C McDowell from Washington D C studied college experiments. Dr L Van Es attended the Sanitary Board meeting in Bismarck. The North Dakota Press Association met in Williston with rail transport for editors and wives, lodging and barbecue. about 250 in attendance. Next meeting set for Grand Forks.
