Williston Club Plans Next Shoot at Grounds

The Commercial Gun Club held a shoot at their grounds last Saturday with a good crowd and notable scores. Next Saturday at 7 P M another shoot will take place inviting all who are interested.

Severe Hail Storm Damages Crops North of Williston

A severe hail storm moved across the countryside north of Williston last Sunday evening. It damaged crops and shattered windows in many houses, with Pherrin township and areas to the north hardest hit. This marks the second such storm in the region this season.

Tarzan of the Apes a Jungle Spectacle at the Orpheum

The Orpheum shows Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan of the Apes with elaborate jungle sets costing about 800000. Garon Griffith stars as the boy with Elmor Lincoln and Enid Markey, while humans dress as animals among lions elephants and apes. See it Monday to Wednesday with Scott Sidney producing.

Harvesters to Lose Control as Government Aims Separate Lines

Government and International Harvester reach agreement to dismiss the companys 1915 appeal and dissolve the Harvester trust. The decree will restrict sales agencies after 1919 and force sale of three harvesting machine lines and two plants, including Springfield Ohio and Avu burn New York. Also noted is a Red Cross knitting record by Lizzie Steffins, a blind Virginia City woman, with 29 socks 9 sweaters 6 scarves.
