Cecil Innis thirty six a Williston resident died when the car he drove overturned two miles west of Knox He had been sent by Fuller Motor Co Minot to deliver a car to Grand Forks Four cars were on the trip Funeral to be held in Williston His family includes a wife a brother Eunice Innis and his father employed by the Great Northern RB Co This death shocks the Williston community and it is believed the vehicle failed to handle a turn while traveling about 15 miles per hour at the time of the wreck.

Home Guard with the Chief of Police arrested a man here last Saturday evening known as Bud Wilson and registered in Crosby North Carolina as Jeffrey Cornwealson. He worked as a barber and held a barber license under Carpenter and claimed Canadian uniforms were taken for harvest duty. He was sent to an army camp after Crosby information confirmed his story. Mr and Mrs Smith plan to move to Arizona where he has served as city electrician.

Alexander Boy Clyde Neer Killed at Camp Pike
The body of Clyde A Neer of Alexander North Dakota arrived after being killed by a train at Camp Pike Arkansas. He was a first year teacher class member drafted from Alexander and accompanied by Soldier James Myers. He had just returned from a New York trip and attempted to catch a moving train when he was crushed. His death shocks his family and the Alexander community.
