Former state senator 1890 94. Remains to be taken to Allenheny county, New York, his birthplace sixty five years ago.

N P Posts Reward for Bandit Arrest Near Butte
The Northern Pacific Railway Company posted a 500 reward for the arrest and conviction of bandits who attempted to hold up the North Coast limited near Homestake, fifteen miles east of Butte. Authorities will hold Rudolph Wenk Paul Felinius and Alfred Teadale, arrested at the scene. The red flag used to flag the limited and dynamite with soap to grease tracks were found yesterday.

Infant Lloyd Clark Dies After Brief Illness
Lloyd Clark seven weeks old, infant son of Mr and Mrs Rich of West Lawn, died April 22 after a disease akin to bronchitis. Rev Henness conducted baptism and a home service before the burial at City cemetery. Sympathy extended to the parents.

Mundell Arrested For Cruelty To Animal In Minot
George Mundell manager of the local employment agency was arrested on cruelty to animals charges after he allegedly soaked a dog's tail in kerosene and set it on fire near his pool hall. The dog ran off screaming until flames were extinguished. Mundell admitted the act and was jailed with bond set at 3500. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will press the case amid public sentiment that Mundell deserves the maximum penalty of up to one year in jail and up to 500 dollars fine. The incident is described as a significant case in the city.

A seven year old gelding about 1300 pounds with a small lump on the left knee and a mare about 1250 pounds with a white face are unaccounted for. No brands observed.
