Scott Powell Wedding at Buford Parsonage
Ed Scott and Evaline Powell, both of Buford, married at the M. E. Parsonage in the city Saturday night at eleven. Rev. Harriss officiated. The couple were joined by Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Southard. Both in their fifties, they are among the county’s oldest settlers. Scott was a pioneer north of Buford and the Scott post office was named for him.

Choral Union Plans Reorganization at Evening Meeting
About thirty five Choral Union members answered the secretary's call and gathered at the nesting Library hall Tuesday. With Prof. Onstad's departure last year the group had stalled, but this meeting marked the first step toward reorganization. Washington April 19 Leo M Frank convicted of murdering Mary Phagan in Atlanta Georgia lost his habeas corpus case in the federal supreme court today. The court decided against him and it is believed only state or state of Georgia can save Frank from death. Justice Pitney wrote the opinion stating Frank received full rights in Georgia courts. Leav es Boy Blind in North Dakota Accident
In Granville North Dakota on April 20 Lester Peck, the six year old son of W. Peck, was accidentally shot by a loaded revolver held by his two brothers. The bullet entered his head, severed the optic nerve, and left him totally blind. He was taken to a Minot hospital for treatment and is reported improving with good recovery prospects.
