Arrested for grand larceny in California case
Word reached here this week that Bob Miller was arrested in Fresno for automobile theft. Miller, released from Bismarck prison about a year ago after a five year term for stealing five horses from Wm. Day of McKenzie county, was convicted for five years in Mandan after a venue change. Attorney Aaron Bessie prosecuted, and a larger bond was set. Miller attacked Bessie in Schafer hotel, breaking his jaw. California authorities may send Bessie to assist Fresno county prosecutions amid telegrams with Denver Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday for Katherine Ann Elliott born in Ontario on April 6, 1885. She moved to North Dakota in 1897, lived in Grand Forks Wheelock and Williams County, taught school, married James Elliott May 6, 1911.
