Williams County Farm Boys Hike in 1915 Williams County
During the July 19 1916 week a Farm Boys Hike will be conducted in Williams County under the Williams County Better Farming Association and County Commissioners. About 75 boys aged 10 to 15 will learn farming by visiting farms in the county, with livestock judging, crop study, soil moisture and weeds, and daily recreation. A $2 fee covers instruction and camp logistics. applications due by June 1 1915 to local commissioners or Better Farming agents.

The body of Philip Paffa was found in a shack south of Wolf Point, Montana, shot through the window while he sat on his bed. Neighbors believed he had been slain long before discovery, and the padlock was snapped to open the door. The shooting date comes from letters found in his pocket. the killer remains unknown.

White and Black Have Scrap in Ideal Pool Hall
Seymour Washington known as the coon shine clashed with Burr Noffsinger Monday in the Ideal pool hall. Washington, allegedly intoxicated, grabbed Noffsinger and used a jack knife in a lashing attempt that resulted in minor cuts. He is jailed and bound over to district court on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon after a Tuesday hearing before Police Magistrate Smith.
