Death of Old Resident Francis M Lunceford
Francis M Lunceford longtime county farmer died last Sunday evening from stomach disease. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with Rev Harriga officiating. Born in Lawrence spankshie February seventh, he was sixty four at death. He came to Hebron township in 1905 from Long Prairie Minnesota. He leaves his wife and eight children, five daughters and three sons, plus five brothers and one sister. Lunceford was a Methodist Episcopal member and valued neighbor noted for industrious service and warm friendship.

Murder In Sisseton Shocks Town Wife And Daughter Slain
The Sisseton Standard reports a brutal murder in Sisseton on the 18th. Mrs G A Carlaw and her 18 year old daughter Frances were found dead in the Carlaw home. Investigators say husband C A Carlaw is the likely killer and possibly insane. The Carlaws had ties to Wil lis ton and later to Plentywood Montana.
