Special Services at St Peters Church Priests Ordination
Candidates presented to the Bishop during an evening service with a fine sermon on They that be for us are more than those that be with them. The choir offered offertory solos and a Te Deum ending with Onward Christian Soldiers amid white and gold decorations and candles. The ordination proceeded with Morning Prayer, laying on of hands, Eucharistic vestments, and Holy Communion, followed by Benediction. County Case to Supreme Court on Divide County Taxes

In Monday’s city election Joseph W. Jackson won the mayor’s race by 37 votes over Austin Johanna. George Marelius took first ward alderman, C D Milloy second ward, and Martin Borsheim third ward on the United ticket. Oscar Bell is city treasurer and H V Smith police magistrate. Remains of Oliver Snow in North Dakota Disc Harvesting Tragedy
Oliver E. Snow, 13, son of William Snow, died in a field north of Dickinson when a disc harrow pulled him under as the team lurched. His brother, returning from school, found him half under the devices with weight on his stomach. The body was brought to Dickinson for burial.

Water Users Adopt New Schedule at Williston Project
Last Saturday the Williston Irrigation Project water users met at the courthouse to hear Prof Shaw of the Great Northern Railway discuss alfalfa. After a long session they adopted a proposed water schedule with future payments rising from 50 cents per acre foot this year to 1.20 next year and 2.20 in the following year, with construction charges on a graduated plan.

Dead Horses Found in Shack Near Snook Farm
Snook, while searching for missing stock seven miles west of the city, found three dead horses in a shack on the Mrs Geo McIntosh farm. The door was forced shut by the animals and they starved after crowding inside. Two animals were color identified as black and bay.
