St Peters Church prepares for a full day of Catholic Anglican rites including vesting of a new priest and the ordination service. The program features the Epistle, Gospel, laying on of hands, Nicene Creed, and a festal vespers with an Apostolic rite of confirmation at 8 p.m. led by Right Rev. Cameron Mann.
Mrs. O A Ringo announces a millinery opening on April 1 in the building south of Kamping office at Main Street. A fine stock will be on hand and Indies are cordially invited to call.
Insurance proceeds were mailed to Mrs Agnew wife of B H Agnew a North Dakota AOUW lineman who died last Thursday from a paralytic stroke The Fargo Grand Lodge received the death proof Friday and a $2000 draft arrived Monday This suggests insuring with home institutions may be prudent.
A fire yesterday in Forbes caused about $20 000 in losses with the R G Fager store P M Woodward pool hall and A C Berry delivery barn all total losses. S G L Stroup and F Jarmer who were rooming in the second story of the Fager building narrowly escaped death.
A March 23 prairie fire swept Richland county Wahpeton North Dakota destroying a Norwegian Synod Lutheran church valued at 5000 dollars and many farm buildings. John Whaley lost about 100 tons of hay while Lars Larson reported the loss of all livestock and several buildings.
A 50 member committee endorses J W Jackson for mayor, touting his proven record in irrigation, federal projects, and the Williston depot, arguing the United Williston platform is practical, forward looking, and fiscally responsible for growth. It urges voters to elect him next Monday.

Missouri river near Washburn reports two ice gorges breaking last night and this morning, pushing water six feet higher and approaching danger. meanwhile local events include a church supper on April 5 and a boy's leg injury from cement playground falls. M. E. Scott returns from Missouri winter. L S Olson travels to Minneapolis for real estate business. Thomas Henneghan leads Gambetta office in Olson’s absence.
Over the past week floaters drifted into the city and officials report numerous suspected illegal votes. Authorities know many involved parties and plan to expose anyone casting illegal ballots. Campaigns are urged to prune illegal voters to preserve integrity. The note also mentions corn seeds and local church notices with a supper sale planned for April 5.
Miss Alice Bryant, a stenographer at Williston State Bank, slipped on the sidewalk Tuesday and broke both bones above the left ankle. A doctor set the fractures and she is recovering, though it will be several weeks before she can return to duty.
Arthur Cunningham and bride Lotta Luke, married in Medford Oregon on a Wednesday in March, arrived in the city yesterday. Cunningham is a respected young man and many friends will greet the couple in church and social circles. The Graphic extends best wishes for a happy life together.
A mass meeting will be held in the courthouse next Saturday afternoon for water users under Williston ditch and interested citizens. The agenda includes discussion of the new payment schedule published elsewhere. Wright Brothers visited Marmon neighborhood and bought a fine team of gray horses for future farming along the creek.
United Williston endorses Pete McIntire for Alderman First Ward and H V Smith for Police Magistrate on the Australian ballot. The ticket lists J W Jackson for Mayor C D Milloy second ward, Martin Borsheim third ward, Oscar Bell City Treasurer and Ottis A Houge City Justice. Voters should understand the ticket lines up with the United Williston committee endorsements.
Emil Leonhardy known as Judge Leonhardy died yesterday after a paralytic stroke two weeks earlier. Born in Switzerland sixty four years ago he moved to Wisconsin as a boy and to Williston in 1890 living there thirty one years. He served as judge and on the school board and belonged to lodges of LO O F K P and Knights of Pythias will conduct the last rites tomorrow afternoon. He leaves a wife three sons five daughters a brother and sister living in Colorado and Salt Lake City.
