Chairman G B Metzger announces Caucuses will be April 11 in each precinct to elect delegates to the Williams County Republican convention April 18 in Williston Court House. The convention will name delegates to the State convention May 14 in Minot and the National convention in Chicago June 16.

In Minot on March 28 the Minot championship team beat Berthold 24 to 23 in a tightly contested basketball game watched by the largest crowd yet seen in Minot. Berthold arrived by special train with about seventy fans. post game, both sides attended a Lyceum Theater performance.

Williston Band Concert Praised at Gates Opera House
Last Friday night the Williston Band performed at Gates Opera House delivering their best concert to date. The instrumental solos and band numbers pleased the audience, reflecting credit on instructor Prof. Onstad and the individual musicians, with Mrs. E. S. Grant offering two enjoyed solos.

Citizens from several districts form the Williams County Good Government League to promote clean government, temperance, morality, law enforcement, and community strength. The Intermediate department held a Friday evening reception hosted by officers and teachers with over eighty scholars enjoying supper and entertainment. The Primary department reception is set for Saturday afternoon. The school reports attendance above one hundred with a Cradle Roll over one hundred, among the largest in the Northwest.
