Fire in Minot Optic Plant Causes Injuries and Explosions
Two firemen were seriously injured and two others badly bruised in a Sunday night blaze at the Minot Optic building. The fire started at the Linotype machines and reached gasoline tanks, causing an explosion. Damage estimated under $800 to $1,000 aside from linotype damage. Firemen Tom Shields and F A Frasl seriously hurt. Chief Mc Dougall and Theo Cullum burned on face and neck but not seriously.
