Christmas Castle brightens holidays for area families
Ruth and Jerry Earl run Christmas Castle assisting Greenwich and North Fairfield families since 2006. Seventy-nine words? 50 families and 131 children receive gifts sourced from community donations via tags on a tree, with gifts kept unwrapped for inspection. Donations include food vouchers and general aid, delivered to the American Legion in North Fairfield. The program, tied to Salvation Army and Toys for Tots, reflects strong local support and a hope for a future without need.
