Praise Check Given To Whitewright Fire Dept

CB Softball Benefit Game Rescheduled for October 3
The Triangle CB club benefit softball game, postponed from Sept 19 due to rain, will be played Oct 3 at 2:30 at American Legion Park. Triangle faces Quad K CB club of Sherman with no admission charged, but a collection will aid Billy Joe Holland of Luella who was injured and paralyzed. Players will dress as women and attendance is invited.

Mrs Ed Barkley fell and broke her hip during the past state Home Demonstration Clubs convention at Texas A&M. She was flown to Sherman Community Hospital and expected to be dismissed next week. Barkley was honored as a 50 year member. attending from Whitewright included Mrs Nevada Garner and Mrs Beulah Mc Lain.
