Still and mash found on Red River farm
Sherman reports two days of raids on illicit liquor operations lead to the seizure of one large still and about 500 gallons of mash on Jess McClure’s Red River farm near Pottsboro. The boiler used a 50 gallon gasoline drum, copper lines were connected, and the outfit was destroyed. A complaint charging McClure with equipment for manufacturing intoxicating liquor and possessing mash was filed.
