The Veterans Administration reports GI loans to veterans exceeded 7.0 million for the fiscal year ending June 30 1967. Direct rural loans totaled 274 127 with a 67 billion face value for all guaranteed insured loans. Home loans comprised 97 percent of loans and most were WWII veterans.
Education Commissioner J W Edgar outlined four new statewide driver education plans to the State Board of Education.
