School Carnival Is Big Success
Last Tuesday night in the High School gymnasium the gala event went off on schedule. The sophomores ran penny pitch and booths in blue and white, freshmen hosted a dart board and clothespin toss, seniors offered a doll rack and milk bottles, juniors sponsored pumpkin toss and cold drinks, with a fish pond by the sophs. An auction led by Coach Montgomery cleared merchandise and a 250 pound hog was won by Edward White Jr. Proceeds benefit school activities and the crowns were awarded to Laura Jean Wilson and Foy Jean Bow.
