Della Tidwell 67 Found Dead In Ector Home

Mrs Della Tidwell of Ector 67 was found dead Wednesday morning believed to have died about 6 am. She survived by husband Roy Tidwell a son and a daughter. Funeral at Baptist Church Ector Friday 3 pm with burial Carson Cemetery. She was born January 8 1880 in Missouri and married in 1900. She lived in Fannin County since 1901 and was a lifelong Baptist.

Senator W. Lee O'Daniel addressed about 350 people on Bond Street at 11 a.m. Saturday though denying reelection plans. Accompanied by his son Pat and Garfield Crawford, he attacked the New Deal, labeling OPA TVA and REA as communistic, and spoke at Craig's Cafe luncheon with 21 others. Local friends praised his Whitewright stop on a 6000 mile state tour before returning to Texas for congressional session.
