Body of Sherman Man Found in Car
Sherman October 23. The limp body of Maynard Taylor a 19 year old baker was found in a car on East Kerr street near Travis. A 45 caliber revolver lay on the running board and the car motor and lights were running. Investigators could not yet determine if the death was accidental or a murder. Groceries including grape juice were found in the car and money was missing from the store till. Taylor left with the car after fetching grape juice for a request from Mrs. Nellie Overley. He had no money except $1.20. He is survived by his mother and one brother. The family moved to Sherman from Winnsboro four years ago.
