Right-of-Way Work On Whitewright Ida Road Begins
Eight county workers under State Highway Department supervision started widening the Whitewright Ida Sherman farm to market road. They began at Whitewright near the Highway 69 intersection, setting back fences to create a right of way 60 to 100 feet wide. After completion, the state will begin construction of a new blacktop road from Whitewright to Sherman via Ida.
