Tyler Man Killed In Truck Accident Near Whitewright
W. C. Oldham, 65, of near Tyler, was killed Thursday at 7 45 a m on Highway 160 three miles north of Whitewright when thrown from a truck driven by his son in law Aaron Thedford of Lindale. The truck ran off a concrete slab and swerved, throwing Oldham onto the pavement as the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned. Thedford had minor injuries. Earnheart ambulance took Oldham to Sherman hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Body returned to Whitewright then sent to Tyler.
