High grid star dies in 1935 season ending play
John McKee 18, Southwest High School backfield star, died in St. Luke's Hospital after a forward pass led to a late touchdown against Manual High School. He suffered a neck injury on the play and died during admission.

In a business session the Auditorium Group I elected President Harold Pace and vice president Morris Fogle Gillett with Glenda Mae Rutledge as secretary.
