J R Oliver reports two German Police dogs attacked three registered Duroc Jersey brood sows in his pig pasture. One sow lost an ear and another an eye while a third was killed. Oliver and a helper beat a dog to death to save the sow. He also notes forty piglets missing earlier that week.

Forty Degree Temperature Tumble Ends Warm Spell

Clyde Holley Negro Buried Here After Dallas Death
Clyde Holley a negro son of H E Holley of Whitewright died in Dallas Monday and was buried here Tuesday. He had worked six years for Manton Fain in his Dallas garage. Fain and three employees attended the funeral. Fain praised Holley as a loyal honest worker. Holley died of double pneumonia.
