Pioneer citizen J H Graves dies at 73 in Sherman
J H Graves 73 a longtime Whitewright cattleman and latterly a Kimbell Milling employee died Wednesday morning at St Vincent’s Sanitarium Sherman after a short illness. Born August 16 1862 near Sweetwater Tenn he moved to Texas as a youth and married Josie Wilson forty three years ago. He survived by his wife two sons Clifton Paul Graves and three daughters Mrs O M Durham Mrs Giles Cobb and Mrs R G Pennington plus a brother and sister. Funeral Thursday 2 pm at the Methodist Church with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
