Two Whitewright Men Arrested in Robbery by Assault
Warren Dale Rice aged 20 and William Eugene Owen aged 18 were charged with robbery by assault in the Aug 11 incident involving John Jenkins. Deputy Sheriff French and city constable Everheart led a three month investigation. Both men appeared in Peace Justice A L McGuire's court and remained in county jail with no bonds set. Owen also faced a separate burglary case with a $1,000 bond.
