Three men robbed Bethel Grocery owned by Frank Jones and a customer, Buddy Bennett, at about 8 p m. They forced the pair into a car and fled at high speed. Jones and Bennett were released about a mile west of Trenton and told to run into a field. About $175 from Jones and $5 from Bennett were taken. Robbers wore bandanas, hid faces, and used a revolver and rifles. Bennett’s wife alerted authorities. no arrests reported.
