40 Percent Cut Ordered in Distillery Grain
The Agriculture Department ordered a 40 percent reduction in grain use by distillers for May to conserve cereals for famine areas abroad. SAN ANTONIO. Fort Sam Houston sale by the War Assets Administration moved more than $622,000 in Army surplus vehicles to veterans in six days. Ted Lewis reported 822 vehicles were purchased by ex-service members in the three days last week, leaving fewer than 40 vehicles for dealers and other non veterans.

Sherman. Ro chelle Canon, war veteran and former Washington School principal, was named Grayson County auditor by Judges R C Slagle Jr and W C Dowdy.
