Funeral services for William B. Penn 96 were held at Central Christian Church in Whitewright with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Born November 10, 1849 in Missouri, he moved to Texas in 1875 and served as Bells mayor. Survived by Mary Florence Conley Penn (wife) and four children, 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, plus many relatives attending from across states. Penn was long active in Masons, I O O F, Woodmen of the World, and the Christian Church.
