Tragic electrocution claims two Whitewright neighbors
In Whitewright on a March night in 1912 Ira Davis, an electrician, cut a live wire rig to his home end and a clothes line was charged when wind moved the loose wire. Davis is killed and neighbor Bob Mayo dies helping. a benefit performance Friday at Acme raises funds for Mayo’s family.
