Fever Blister Causes and Home Care Tips
Fever blisters affect mainly younger people and arise from indigestion fever bad teeth and diseased tonsils. They are not contagious but can worsen if untreated, so avoid spreading moisture. Apply pure alcohol camphor spirits or borated alcohol to head off infections and keep the blister dry. If it worsens use boracic acid bicarbonate of soda or zinc oxide. Saltpeter or alum may help healing.
