County Attorney Office Upgrading Asked by Assistant
An assistant county attorney urged Whitewright Rotary Club to support upgrading Grayson County's attorney's office. Douglas Henniger said the office needs a larger budget for salaries, a full-time investigator, more prosecutors and better equipment to handle rising cases and speed trials. He noted young prosecutors gain experience but often leave for defense work. Ben Munson added that another court would pay for itself.
