Mr and Mrs H D Neff of Hamlin visited Mrs Rey and her husband Mr and Mrs D A Rey. Neff will teach at Northeast Texas Teachers College in Commerce this summer. Gas at the filling station is advertised as best with clear gauges for customers.
Mr and Mrs W F Holland return from a car trip to San Antonio. They are accompanied home by their sons Robert and Maurice who have been attending the State University in Austin.

Wesley K Hill, formerly with the Dyer Jones drug store in Farmersville, has been given management of that firm’s drug store in Whitewright and departed Monday to assume charge. Mrs Hill and the children will join him soon as they relocate for the new home.
Mrs. Hill is popular in church and social circles. W. K. Hill advances to store management in Whitewright after fourteen years as a druggist and ten years as a drug clerk in Winnsboro. He came with Dyer & Jones from Electra, marking a steady rise in the Texas firm with eight stores.
Local notes affirm Hill's stewardship of a long-established business, with many friends confident the firm has made no mistake in placing the enterprise in his care.
The Sherman ball park near the Frisco shops in Northeast Sherman will be razed after the Sherman Amusement Company lease expired. Secretary A B Saul says grandstand and fence will be torn down and material sold as the grounds revert to farm use on the Roberts farm. The site housed one of the best class D infields before being turned under.
