Agreement Reached on Highway 75 Plan in Sherman and Denison
Sherman and Denison mayors, County Judge J N Dickson, and the Commissioners Court reached a道路 plan for Highway 75 to become a four lane between Sherman city limits and Iron Ore Creek. The route would then head east to a junction with Austin Avenue in Denison and proceed to Denison city limits. A future alternate Sherman route may be added. Girl Drowning Victim Is Buried At Savoy
Funeral services for Wanda Jean Ingram 12 daughter of Mr and Mrs L W Ingram were held at Sunnyside Cemetery Savoy. She drowned in the Trinity River at Dallas May 22 while wading with another girl. The body found May 30 drifted miles. Her mother remained in Dallas Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
