Hames Baby Falls Into 35-Foot Well Near Whitewright
Rebecca Lynn Hames age 19 months fell into a 35 foot well with 15 feet of water at the Hames home west of Whitewright Saturday. Her parents heard splashing and husband Albert Hames Jr. rescued her by rope. The child survived without serious injury. a prior tramp tragedy struck the family last November when a 2-year-old daughter died in an accident involving a tractor tire. Mrs. Hames is the daughter of Clyde Robinson of Ida.
